ABOUT ME

Welcome everyone to Perrison Fine Art!

I am excited that you are here! The release of Perrison.com brings me great joy and is a giant step in achieving my lofty future goals. I could not have done this without the guidance from God, support from my family, and help from my friends.

It all started in the year 2001 on a cold December night. Jerome P. Mallory also known as “Perrison” was faced with selecting a baby shower gift for his newest cousin to be, “Jordan”, to the left. He had two choices; buy a gift from a local children’s store or just make something. The placed he worked at the time, Old Time Pottery, had its own arts and crafts section Jerome knew all about. Then BAM! It hit him. Jerome would paint a picture displaying Jordan’s name. On that night Jerome sat at the dinner table with his Aunt and began his future as an artist. He finished a total of three paintings that night. So every since then, the Oklahoma City native has tapped into his creative side

Jerome admits, “Coming from a family with two older brothers and a younger sister and later a younger brother, you have to find your niche, and creating things is still what I enjoy doing.” When it comes to art, there seems to be no boundary for Jerome. He says, "Sometimes I like to make a big mess, I don’t care. As long as I think it looks good nothing really matters. Art is self expression." Jerome has not attended an art school, and considers himself as self-taught, like the artists in the 18th Century. Jerome says, “They never went to an art school, they were doing what gave them fulfillment.

2006 was a breakout year for Perrison. In 2006, Perrison introduced his annual art calendar, published the Signatures Art Book, and participated in his first three art shows including events at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery, Maestros, and the NeoRenaissance Art House.
